For years I dreamed of long, shiny, healthy hair. But no matter how long mine grew, it always felt the same — damaged at the ends, dry through the lengths, full of split ends I couldn't keep up with. Frizzy on a humid day, lifeless on a dry one. The hair I wanted and the hair I had never matched.
And then there was something quieter, harder to look at. My mother — who had always had thin hair but the most beautiful curls — was losing more and more of it. I watched her notice it in the mirror in moments she didn't think anyone was seeing. I watched the quiet pride she had always carried in her hair fade with each handful she found on her pillow.
Alma Sereen was born, in large part, out of love for her. I wanted to help. Not just to bring back her hair, but to give back that small, everyday confidence of feeling at home in your own reflection.
That's when I started reading. Really reading. About scalps and shafts, about the difference between marketing and ingredients, about the slow tradition of hair oiling that almost every culture in the world has practised — in some form — for thousands of years.
I started making oils in my own kitchen. Extra virgin coconut, jojoba — then rosemary, flaxseed, star anise, clove, aloe vera. Small batches, only for me at first. Then friends asked for jars. Then their friends. After a year, my kitchen couldn't keep up. That's when Alma Sereen became something more than a personal ritual — it became a brand.
Our oil is handcrafted with 100% natural ingredients. The formula is built around one hero — Nourishing, on rosemary and lightweight coconut MCT, for hairlines and crowns that need waking up.
It carries a herbal heart: rosemary, flaxseed, star anise, clove, aloe vera. Chosen one by one — to nourish the scalp, support healthy growth, and bring life back to the hair, naturally.
Every drop in every bottle is from natural origin. No fragrance, no silicones, no fillers. If we wouldn't use it on our own scalps, it doesn't go in.
